Hi! My name is Cookie. I was found crying and filthy under a shed near downtown Greenfield. My foster mom’s 3 year old niece (a future kitten/cat rescuer) was there to help out and she gave me my name, Cookie! I have been in a foster home with other foster kittens, adult cats, 2 senior dogs (1 large, 1 small), and 2 young kids. I do very well with adults and other cats/kittens. I love attention! I’m a little hesitant around the kids but if they’re calm and quiet, I don’t mind having them pet me. I’m pretty hissy around the dogs but am doing a tiny bit better with them each day. My foster family isn’t sure whether or not I’ll get past this hissing and eventually be okay around dogs. I have the softest fur you’ve ever felt on a kitty! It makes cuddling with me and petting me irresistible, and I love that! Please stop in to the Humane Society and meet me. I’m ready to be loved on at my fur-ever home!
Shelter hours are Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Closed Holidays.
