Posting Date:11/20/17, Approximate Age:12 weeks at posting date. Hi! I’m Dawson. I am a light brown mackerel tabby. My brother, Dundee, looks similar to me but I have more brown coloring and he has more grey/black colors. I am about 12 weeks old. When I arrived at the Humane Society, I wasn’t feeling well so my brother and I went to a foster home for a couple weeks to get some medicine so we could feel better. Once I felt better, my personality as a spunky, energetic kitten emerged! I love to run and roughhouse with my brother. We’re quite the funny, mischievous pair! When we’re not being partners in crime, I often like to sleep on my back with my front legs stretched out above my head. It is quite the adorable, hilarious sight! When I’m lying like that, you can see my neat polka dot belly. My foster home had 1 large senior dog, 1 small senior dog, 1 three year old child, and 1 one and a half year old child. While I didn’t mind sitting still for some snuggles with the adults in the home, I wasn’t a big fan of the dogs or kids. As long as the dogs left me alone, I didn’t mind being in the same room with them. Usually, when the kids played in the same room that I was in, I’d find a place to hide out until they were gone. I love being around my brother, Dundee! We get along great and would trot around the house together at all times. My main job in life right now is to run and play and I’m fantastic at that!
